100 days in Afghanistan
06.02.2013
100 days of activity of 12th rotation of Polish Military Contingent in Afghanistan passed.

During that time Polish soldiers apprehended over 60 insurgents including four dangerous terrorists who were on the JPEL list and 26 weapon, ammunition and explosives caches were cleared.

As the commander of the 12th rotation of PMC BrigGen Andrzej Tuz stresses, the fact that all the components of the contingent are well coordinated and cooperate well with each other is the most important.

Good cooperation is reflected in opinions about our activity expressed by the highest commanders of coalition forces. During last visit of the commander of Polish Military Contingent in RC-E Command, the ISAF Commander General John Allen spoke positively about the activity of our contingent. He confirmed good cooperation with Polish soldiers. In his words of thanks he emphasized that our activity in Ghazni province caused that security situation had improved and the level of training of Afghan security forces, especially police and armed forces is much higher. - We are praised for our work both by Americans and by the Afghans. As a Pole I am proud of that. - said BrigGen Andrzej Tuz.
